I get sick of people see something to big and right away start with the the photo shop theory. I could see a deer getting thisbig.theres always a freak somewhere or he lived ina grain bin.
I second that, that's been the theme around here lately. Oh that's photo shopped. It has to be. Blah blah blah. It seems like everything must be a lie if no one else has had it happen or has heard of it.

This is 500 lbs on the hoff. So you do the math. That would have to be one hell of a deer

The Minn DNR backs the claim of a 500 lb buck. As far as photographs it could have been possible but it wasn't as easy as today. The first camera to use film was distributed in 1888 by George Eastman and the first color film was available in 1940. I'm not saying there isn't a pic, just that I could understand if none was taken.

Actually I have read several places that the "verified" record weights for both WhitetailAND Mule deer are exactly the same........511lbs.
(With the whitetail being taken in Minnesota as mentioned)

That's a whole lot of deer.[:-].......bigger than the last 3 that I shot combined?!(Heck , here in PA maybe the last 4!?)
