manboy, I applied for the Wyoming General Non-resident elk license. The odds of drawing are stacked against me. I will be a resident on October 10th. I would like to draw the non-resident elk license so I can bow hunt in September. If I do not draw the license? I will buy a resident license over-the-counter on October 10th.

Take a look at 'Wac em" broadheads, they implement the cut onimpact concept yet the tip will NOT curl due to it's design and they fly exceptionally well for broadheads. I have had somebroadheads in the past due to design, even with a perfectlytuned bow, make some noise, like the steelforce head....I have shot elk with muzzy puncture type heads, elk with cut on contact type heads like the steel force..I have hit bone (ribs)with the coc heads and they have slightly CURLED.....but I feel like the "wac ems" that I switched to this year are the over all best design for what I am looking for in a broadhead. I am not saying this is the only answer, justgive them a look is all, I posted a link below.They are getting very popular out west where I live and hunt for elk. I heard a lot of good feedback locally from some of my fellow elk hunters as well.
