This might make an interesting poll! I didn't expect so many to answer they get bows that often!

I always was a guy who traded every two years. But I bought my last bow 9 years ago, a Mathew's Ultra-Light, and I liked it that much, I decided to keep it. Finally, the urge to upgrade hit last fall, and I sold my Ultra-light and bought a new Switchback. What a difference 9 years of technology makes!! I love this new Switchback!! BUT!!! After 4 years, I'm selling and upgrading again. The new technology is comming out so fast, that I want to keep up with it this time around!!

I used to get a new bow every couple of years. I bought a new bow
back in December but it had been about 5 years this time. I like this one,
a Switchback, so much that it might be another 5 years before I buy another one.

My bowis approaching 9 years old now. I've killed just about every deer I've ever shot at with it, so not much reason to break the bank on a new one, IMO.

So far, my bow has outlasted: 3 portable tree stands, 3 fixed position stands, 1 fiber optic sight, 6 dozen arrows, 3 new strings & cables, 3-5 dozen broadheads, 1 stabilizer, 2 releases, 2 used cars, 4 pairs of boots, 6 camouflage outfits (coats and pants)and, most importantly, about 30 deer.

No reason to stop the streak now, ya know?

I bought a new bow 3 years ago. I've already told my bird that this year, I'm buying a new one. Went to a shop the other day and eyed up the Switchback LD. It is as good as mine.

Before that, I had my old bow since 88.

Wow this is cool to see. I never realized that you could get new technology almost every year and not lose yourself big time on it.
