i think if it was me i would have let the guy have the car,i don't know i could handle killing somebody over a car,thats what insurance is for in my opinoin,but if he was in my house get the body bag out and call the coroner.

I am not sure how I would personally handle that situation. But I do know that the bowhunter better hope they found a gun on the thief.
In addition, lets all hope for our sake- as fellow bowhunters- that his story is real and he was truly defending his property.

hey, the guy had it coming, but i am not sure that it was the right thing for the hunter to do

I would let the ride go in a second if it was clear in my head that...my car = his life!?? How many of us think of it like that in that situation is another story.
If he was in my house or if my wife or son were in the car. Double barrel, skip the bow. No hesitation.
