I've never seen a deer yet that wil stand still and let you shoot a group at him.
I think it was Jim Dougherty, the famous bowhunter who writes the column in the back of Peterson's Bowhunting, that said "One-shot groups are all that matter."

I have done it about three times in my life. I usually
shoot at different spots now. It is expensive.........
Ditto, kicker.

It's mostly a chance thing anyway you understand. You got it right, LUCK,....only in his case BAD LUCK. Just lost $20 worth of arrows. Been there, done that,....try to avoid it at all cost. Besides that, I'm the luckiest person I know.

Yes it does get exspensive! So like some of the others mentioned I shoot at different targets or spots! It was nice the first time, no more really.....and as the man said, ain't a deer alive gonna stand still and let you shoot an arrow at the same spot, I like the Army's marksmanship goal, carries over to archery too...... "one shot, one kill"

I shot two robin hoods within two shots. I have sinced bought a dozen A/C/C's and refuse to shoot groups.
