The pull on my PSE Vengeance Hybrid is set at 72 lbs right now. It actually maxed out. The reason I have it set like that is because I can pull it back without a problem and hold it for a while. I'm only 17, so I'm pretty fit and 72 lbs isn't too much. If I couldn't hold it, then I would back it off.

This year I am going to 60's, heck to me 70's are over kill.. How fast do you really want to pass through a deer.

i went from about 50-55# last year to 62 this year and i can still hold it comfortably.

about 63-65. Thank God I backed it down from 70. I would never have been able to pull my bow back when that buck walked out

i've been hunting at 45# since i've been hunting in cold weather and couldn't pull any more very well after sitting for a long time. this year i'll be shooting at least 50. i would like to get up to 55 though.
