easton axis and grim reaper
i just bought the new switchback xt and was thinking about my new setup. I was wanting to try the easton axis arrow with the 100 gr. grim reaper razor tip.do you think this is a good combo.

I definitely think that the Axis is a good choice, it is the arrow that I shoot and I have no complaints. You will probably have people tell you otherwise, but through 2 seasons they have been good for me.
As for the grim reapers, i've heard people being mildly satisfied with them. If you like mech heads, look into NAP Spitfire, Rocket Steelhead, or the Eastman ST3. Personally I still feel that you can't beat the Slick Tricks but they are not mechs. Good luck in your decision.

Can't say anything about the broadheads but..
My new Switchback XT is sweet and with no tuning so far other than initial setup is shooting my Axis ST 400s into TIGHT-TIGHT groups!
A couple nights ago we had 20 mph winds gusting to 40...I was out shooting off my back deck at my bag target at 20 yards with NO effect of crosswind.
I've been shooting STs for two years now. Last season I made a bad shot on a doe at 30 yards. the arrow entered through the hind quarter (and luckily hit the femoral artery), and made a complete passthrough halfway up her back! I was shooting 100 grain THunderheads.
