I was eyeing the SpottHogg Hunter myself for my new Switchback, but I believe I'm going to be going with the new Vital Bow Gear "triangle" sight...

Instead of either horizontal or vertical pins. the pins sort of "sprout" out at an angle fron a single point. It givea a much clearer sight picture of the target with very little obstruction.

You won't find a brighter pin without lights either!

check out the HHA OL-5000. Single pin slider sight. Very bright and can get magnifying lens for them.

I like how BRIGHT the Vital Bow Gear sights are! They are extremely light weight and made in the USA!

hey there cougar. yep i bought it in the later 90's. i've never had it through a chrony but if i had to guess i would say 260s at 65#. i maybe overestimating though. The best i can describe the bow is a Carol Intruder with magnisium riser and Maxis Cams. fairly nice bow but the new offerings are in a differnt level!

Thanks guys for all the input! wow, don't beleive noone recommended the Extreme Snipers. Were they just a fad or are they less popular then i though.
Ive never been a fan of the slide action sights. I'm checking into all the other recommendations. I'm still leaning toward the Hoggs.

keeps the recs comming fellas. some really good info so far!!!!!
