RE: I took the mathews challenge....and...
I knew that I was going to get the Bowtech Tribute after shooting it on several occassions at the shop but I just had to try the rest. I agree w/ you Trem if I had to pick between the Trykon and the XT it would have been the Mathews. I went back to the shop andshot this bow several times as well and it felt likea real good shooter. Congrats on your new bow.

Thanks everyone!
Well the new Switchback XT has one kill under its belt already:
A monster squirrel at 25 yards.
Complete heartshot passthrough with an Easton Axis ST, 100 grain field tip.

Congratulations! A squirrel was my first kill with the ol' MQ-1. I posted a thread here about it almost six years ago when I was a newbie, and a few people at the time went ballistic! Unbelievable.
Anyway, maybe I missed it... but what rest, sight and stabilizer combo are you going with so far?

Well I've got a new VBG Kaz-A-Way rest that I'm still not sure is set 100% right. I realized the other night that I was getting fletching contact. A closer inspection of the rest revealed that it was hanging up on the shelf and not closing all the way.
I've also got my old VBG vertical pin trapper sight and a Simms S-coil stabilizer.
The lighter weight and shorter ATA has me a little less steady than I like. I'm going to try my old 7" vibracheck stabilizer just to see if a little more weight and length makes a of difference. If so I'm gonna look for a new stabilizer.
I'm also looking at the new VBG triangle sight.
