Can you believe it? Bow season starts in a little over 9 &1/2 months. Can't wait!!! I know...... I'm ate up!! Fortunately, the older you get, the faster time goes by.

i agree. i just started hunting last year. went 4 times with a gun and didnt even see a deer. decided id like to bow hunt so i bought a hoyt ultramag and trying to practice everyday.

im trying to learn as much as possible so i might have a chance to take my very first deer with a bow. i cant wait to get up in a tree.

8 months here in colorado till elk bow season starts. Never hunted with a bow before. I gun hunted this year and got three deer but didnt even see an elk. I had 1st and 4th gun seasons and dont feel as though I got out enough. I will be doing bow elk this year along with a gun elk (2nd or 3rd season) along with either a bow or gun deer season and then its off to oklahoma for whitetail season! What little cash I have for personal use quickly gets transfered to the hands of the bass pro shops or the sportmens wharehouse. EJ

i can hunt for does with my bow until march!!!! they are trying to get rid of a lot of deer around here. plus early archery for does comes in sept.........so i will only have 6 months where i can't shoot anything........wow thats great!!!

I'm stoked to,9.5 months to go as well.Bow season opens the 1st of October for me .
I may be purchasing my new bow this year,hopefully if everything goes well,but have to convince the wife first
I will be trying Turkey this year with the bow,tried a few years ago with no luck but will be out for sure.
Intill then,I have my ice fishing to keep me busy and out of trouble
