Default Possible Stupid Question?

Ok. I am going to get a target tomorrow. I replaced the sight on my bow. It had a True-Glo on it I replaced it with a Cobra Sidewinder. If i center the True-Glo next to the Cobra and allign the sights as best I can will I be that far off target? I am going to dial it in on the target I just don't want to overshoot it and miss it complety. Thanks.

Yup, you should be rather close to the same spot as long as the pins are close to the old ones. A sight pin is only a reference between your eye and the target at a specific distance. As long as you keep your eye line with the target the same, the pin will end up in the same spot on either sight.

* Note: Just to make sure I clarified this, the pin needs to be in the same spot in relation to the bow....not nessessarily the other sight because the brackets could mount a little different.

I agree with .308hunter,and I see what you're saying.I wouldn't think you'd be that far off,but I'd start at 10yds,and then back on out.Good luck.

ok thanks yea they mount the same one is just about one inch further away from the bow. This sight is also really really bright. Makes a big difference. Next on the list is some carbon arrows then a new release.
