Moultrie 200 digital
Does anyone out there have this scouting camera? How does it rate with the other ones that are out there? What is the best price that you have found on it. Looking to buy a digital real soon!

RE: Moultrie 200 digital
I just got one for Christmas and put it out and was impressed with the pictures. I have 2 cuddebacks also and for the price the Moultrie takes pretty decent pictures. Having said that though the Cuddeback is still a better camera and takes better picture but, it also cost twice as much as the Moultrie. So if you want a camera to just see what you have in your hunting area I'd go with the Moultrie.

I have both this camera and the Cuddeback 3MP camera and for the money, this camera wins hands down. The only advantage that the Cuddeback has is the faster trigger speed. The picture quality is just as good and has the advantage of having the moon phase and temperature stamped on the picture which can help with your scouting. For half the price of the Cuddeback you can get the camera, a rechargeable battery, a solar panel and (2) memory cards. Don't get me wrong the Cuddeback is a fine camera, I just can't see paying twice the price for it.

check out my post, i think the pictures are pretty decent depending on the weather. the one day it rained my pictures were alittle blurry. Another thing is the battery life. But u can solve that by just buying rechargable batterys. i got mine for about $150.good luck if u plan on getting one.

I just posted this today under DEER HUNTING forum..... I have the moultrie 200 gamespy 3.1 and it takes great pics.. I will agree when it is foggy the pics are blurry but you can expect that from any camera.
