I shot the Diamond Poison for 7 years before I bought a Switchback. It was a good bow. Bowtech bought Diamond and added a little of their Tech to the bows. They are good bows.

It is my experience that the Bowtechs and the Diamonds overlap significantly in their lines... To me the main difference is that Bowtech allows the diamond brand to be sold via mail and at "outlet" sporting stores like Gander Mountain. Anyway I just got a Diamond Victory package from hunters friend and couldn't be happier... I would say that it compares favorably to any of the Bowtechs... Matter-of-fact some of the Team Bowtech members shoot this bow in competitions...

I recently got a 2005 Diamond Victory after shooting several brands of bows. Dollar for dollar I think it may be the best buy in archery. I love this bow. I don't have a lot of experience but I know quiet when I don't hear it. It is fast, smooth draw, and no shock or recoil. I'm sold on Diamond. i also just ordered a wood grip for the 2006 model. It will fit my 05 and really looks good.

I also shoot the dimond victory, single cam. I have no complaints about it. It is as smooth and quiet of a bow that I have seen.

I bought it at an "outlet" store....Gander Mountain for $469.

Ditto txrookie.I love mine.I don't know about last years technology or whatever, but this baby is bad.Kind of like getting a 20054x4 truckbrand new off the lot w/ 0 miles, instead of a 2006 brand new 4x4 truck...who cares it's still a new 4x4 truck.Same difference. If it is last years bowtech technology...it's still great, but less $.I'm currently shooting the victory ..30",70#...27.5" Maxima 350's...100gr tip.Total weight 375gr @ 290-295 fps.Not too shabby if you ask me.Victory will hang with any of todays bows IMO,just matters who is pulling the string.[8D]
