RE: How often do you buy a new bow?
I'm going on 6 years with my feathermax...never felt a need to "upgrade" except for fearing I had outgrown its drawlength. That issue has been resolved...now I have to decide when I want to try 70# draw.

I really shouldn't say but since my wife doesn't read these boards, I have bought 5 in the past 12 months, with only 1 of those being in the last 9 months... I had a busy beginning of the year. I am hoping to stay out of the bow shops for the most part for the next 6 months, keep me out of trouble. I doubt I will...

I have had mine since 98 a PSE Nova, love it never had any problems what so ever. I got a bigtypical 12 cruising aroundmy blind at my lease that will hopefully bethe next victim. Though technology has come so far since then I am looking to get a new bow for next season. I will definetly keep shooting my Nova, 8 yrs. of shooting almost everyday and I never had to take in for tune up.

Last bow I bought was my first bow. Back in '91 or '92, can't remember. I always thought if it ain't broke don't fix it. Couldn't afford that kind of impulsive buying anyways. Have too many other things I want.

Well, I'll let you know after I sell my Switchback from '05 (IF anyone's interested).
I will eventually settle in on an "every other year" type of guy. Technology is just too stinking hard to resist sometimes.
