For those of you who live in a state where the seasons overlap...do you plan to bowhunt during rifle season? If so...will there be any rifle hunters near you?

I would. But it dosent overlap in NY. Heres a question, can and would you bow DURING the rifle season if you could ??

In TX we have Archery season then we have General season. Some counties and areas vary a little. During General season, you can use any legal firearm, bow, crossbow.

1. Yes, I would bow hunt and I do bow hunt all season long.

2. On my lease I'm completely surrounded by hunters with rifles.

No , I enjoy gun hunting too , why limit myself ?

Yeah what Kevin said. For 1 week a year I tote the rifle. It's more of a family tradition. Will leave for camp 1st thing Friday Morning.
Couple a days to party and ride ATV's and enjoy being away. Then we get serious! lol

yes I bowhunt during rifle season, as a matter of fact I shot a 9 pointer the second day or gun season with my bow. No there are very few gun hunters around where I hunt. I am the only person hunting on the land so gun season dosn't have a great impact upon deer movement where I hunt.

My son and I will ONLY bow hunt, this season. We are able to hear rifle hunters around us....but NONE in the immediate vicinity.

We are lucky to have sole, legal access to our hunting land.
