I HEARD THAT. YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD.
MY WIFE IS TIRED OF HEARING IT ALREADY TOO. OUR SEASON STARTS SATURDAY, AND I CAN'T HARDLY CONTROL MYSELF. I TOLD HER THAT IF SHE WOULD GO ON STAND WITH ME AND GET UP CLOSE TO A DEER ONE TIME, THEN SHE WOULD TOTALLY UNDERSTAND THE PASSION.

My wife says there are two seasons in our household - golf and bowhunting. She always goes on vacation to visit her sister after the bowhunting season ends. She says that I'm unbearable to live with during those three - four months between bowhunting season and the golf season. Maybe I should take up woodworking during that time. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I'm with you guys!!!! I drive my girlfriend(4 yrs) nuts. She says I'm never as happy as during hunting season and she like seeing me that way but that's WHEN she sees me!!!!! She's ok with it and that's a plus in my book.

Im defenitly addicted. My ex wife
compares it to alchoholism or
drug abuse. Her last statement to
me before our breakup was "I cant take
another hunting season." "If you
go bowhunting one more time this
year im leaving." Needless to say,
SHE LEFT.
We need to form a support group.

The only problem is, I dont want to
be cured.

Heck, the wives and girlfriends should love this. There very few activities that make us guys go home and tell them every thought and movement we've made over the past 4 hours. They may roll their eyes, but I'd bet they are enjoying the communication

M Bucker...I hear ya...
My wife says I look happy and actually smile in pictures with my deer and fish, but in our wedding pictures, there is no smile.
