8 pt bowkill
I shot this 8pt. yesterday at 1030 hrs. on some new property that I just got permission to hunt on.The shot was from 26 yards with the deer quatering away. The arrow struck the last rib, traveled forward taking out the liver, both lungs and the heart before completely exiting under the left front leg.The deer made it 25 yards before piling up.Dressed weight,160 lbs.I was 25 feet up in a nice beech tree over looking a good funnel.Prior to shooting this buck,I had four other smaller bucks come by my stand. This stand has some great buck sign.I think I'm gonna be spending alot of time perched in this stand.I shot the deer with my #70 Pearson Edge,TR dropzone rest, goldtip 75/95 camo shaft tipped with a 100 grain Wac'em broadhead, blazer vanes and the magnock nocking system.[/align]
