Need a good bow for my gorilla arms!
Whats up everyone,
I have decided to get a new bow after this years season and was wondering what you long-limbed guys would recommend. My problem is my draw length is 32". I was also wondering if my release would allow me to use a 30 instead of 32. I would love to have a new style short bow with the limbs that are almost paralell. Right now I use an old Browning and its almost as tall as me LOL. I think the bow is at least fifteen years old.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also have a 32"draw and I just picked up an 05' BowTec Old Glory. Bow shoot's great and has a 37"ATA. @ 70lbs with an 455gr. arrow im getting 290 fps. It's fast and accurate quiet and smooth, give it a try.

Check out www.martinarchery.com They even have a couple bows that reach 35" to 36" drawlengths.
Something you should be made aware of is that many bows actually draw as much as 1" longer than they are marked so have any bow you choose measured for draw. Do not trust the sticker on the bow.
Should you want to shoot a string loop this will make you stretch out a bit more and to compensate you may need to shorten the draw of the bow a bit. So you may not need a 32" anyway.
Just a couple things to look out for.

I'm selling my ProTec, but I guess it's not what you're looking for. LXPro limbs and Accuwheels, 46" axle to axle. Great bow for fingers shootin'.60 poundspeak and draw lengths adjustfrom 31 1/2" - 33 1/2". I shoot it at 33 1/2", you short armed midget.

I also have a long draw and enjoy shooting fingers style for hunting and target. I purchased the Hoyt ProTec with LX Pro limbs. The axle to axle is 47 ½” with a brace height of 9” shooting XX-78 super slams at 34”. Because of the long axle to axle there is virtually no pinch on the tab and is extremely smooth and very forgiving. Last year I purchased the Hoyt UltraTec for 3-D competition with a release complete with all the bells and whistles. Because I’m using a rope release (Cascade) there is no concern for finger pinch and I reduced arrow length by installing a N.A.P. 3000 rest I can now shoot a 29 ½” ACC. This bow is much faster at the same weight (72#) but is still very forgiving and accurate.
