Bowhunting in Carroll Co. MISSOURI!! What should I do??
Okay, I'm going to be hunting in Carroll county Nov. 6-10 . I've never been there before. A friend has some private land I'll be hunting on. It's mostly agricultural, with timber and crp, and gently rolling land.
MY question to all you Missouri guys is : What should I expect to see and what size buck can I expect to hold out for?? I'm going at the right time and will hunt HARD for 5 days, just not real sure what to expect. Don't want to shoot a 130 " buck if a 150" is a good possibility. I'd rather eat tag sandwich as shoot something sub-standard.
Please help me with my expectations, I'm leaving in 2 days!!
P.S. He has several hundred acres, should be plenty of room.

It really depends on the property. If he has a well managed plot of land, there could very well be 150+" bucks running around. But if I was you and your looking for something nice, anything 125+ I would take.
