My first ASAT harvest

My first ASAT harvest
I know it isn't anything with antlers or even anything to eat...but none the less, I thinned the pack by one last weekend.
20 yard shot, pass threw and then he went about 10 yards and fell over.
But I guess ASAT still don't hide my ugly mug!!

Cool, you should get the pelt tanned or at least keep the tail. I had a chance to shoot one in manassas, va. but couldn't. I was on the ground, he walked right by and I had the draw on him, when he looked at me I couldn't release, he just looked to much likea dog to me. Anyways nice shot!!

Yeah I was gonna say.......'What the heck is that ugly thing floating in the middle!" [:-]
That's a cool harvest, many guys consider Coyotes "Pests" but I admire them for what they are and consider them a trophy especially by bow.
I took my first one with a bow last season in IL.
Mine was facing me directly at 20 yards and never saw me draw my bow......that's saying something for ASAT because you know how quickly a Yote will turn himself inside out if they sense ANYTHING wrong.
I think next year I'm going to try to take a deer with a big stick and my ASAT. I'll just stand there quietly and then WHACK!
