CWD Precautions

Default CWD Precautions

I hunt in NY, where they have confirmed CWD. But I'm assuming we've got it in New England, too. I butcher my own. This year I'm not taking the neck - too many lymph nodes. And I'm not sawing the spine. I'll take the loin out while the deer's hanging. I'm also planning to wash the saw blade after each cut. Anyone else dealing with this problem?

I dont worry about it. I butcher my own deer, and I de-bone it all. So...
