RE: Shot one but lost it......
Well guys I went back tonite to fill my feeder and set up my camera and I was headed to a scrape and I found my arrow. It was about 65 yards from where I shot him but the arrow was completely covered in blood and there was chucks of something on it so he has to be dead. Oh and the shot was just a little bit back behind the lungs because when I released he started walking again. But he droped that arrow not 5 feet from the scrape I was setting my camera up on.

Seems to me like a gut shot, I think you need to spend more than 2 hours looking for that deer, I would be out there for 2 days trying to find that deer. He will be dead, do you know the water in the area besides to creek? Did he run parallel to the creek or away (perpindicular)? Check all water around, he will head for water if it is a gut shot.
If I were you, I would care less about my feeders and get your butt out there and find your deer, bring a friend too, another person is usually a help.
Good Luck!
