Default Mock Scrape

I located some nice trails that are active and made a synthetic scrape and licking branches over the scrape. My question is I saw to other scapes or even any sign of bucks in the area. I'm assuming does are using this trails. Did I do the right thing by making a synthetic scrape in a area that look like most does are using?

YES! and here's why. where the doe's are the bucks will be coming shortly. one of the things about mock scrapes is you want yours to be the first. that way the bucks think an outsider is coming to steal his girls away.keep freshening it.

As bighorn say's where there's doe's there will be buck's ,although it might be a bit early for him ,I'd refresh the scrape later as well and I'll bet you drag that buck in real quick.
