The only thing that I'm confused about is you sig is WV and I'm assuming that means West Virginia and in WV our season doesn't open until October 15. If I've assumed to much sorry and congrats.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. It really tested me to take that deer. During our preseason scouting we had seen to mature deer that we knew we wanted to take. It just so happened that we added this one to the list after we spoke with the neighbors. Now it will have to be up to my father and my brother to get the big ones. My father deserves it anyway because he finally took his first doe after just about twenty years of bowhunting. I guess I am just a team player. I will just get behind the camera now.
Gutshot -I was born and raised is PA and just moved to WV the other year. I will always be a PA boy and I go back to hunt and spend timewith my dad. It is one of thosethings that never gets old.
