yesterday morning the wife and I went to the private land we hunt on.at first light I looked up to see a nice 8pt. at about 20 yards.he stood and watched and feed around till he was broad side at 20 yards.
I released and he bound off and stopped at about 50 yards and flicked hi tail.I though ,he'll fall any second.he then walked behind some vines.I am waiting for him to fall.afyer about 4 or 5 min. he walked toward a doe that was blowning. he then biound off with her.
I grabed my rattling horns,he stoped and turn back toward me.I heard something coming from my left.another 8 pt. came in hunting me.he walked and looked and walked.he went with the other one for a min. then came around me to 20 yards and I took another shot.I heard him fall just out of site.then I'm thinking I had to have missed the first one.I'm thinking man two 8's in one setting.
I got down and found both arrows. the first shot was a clean miss.the second was covered with good blood.

Good job man. Hey I like your bow mounts in the truck. Can you show a close up of them?

its just a wood frame I made to hold our bows in the back of the truck. with the wife and I in the front with all our gear, theres just not enough room.
I will try to get a close up of it in a day or two.
