Give him a big pat on the back from me. That is a great story and I am so glad that the hard work paid off. I am working with my girl friends 14 year old son doing the same thing. His Dad never had the time to take him out. Well this is his first year. We practiced quite a bit so far. Even joined a bow hunters club together. Sure hope I have a simlar story to share soon. Congrats again to him and you for getting him involved. I find it amazing the number of adults that won't take the time for kids.

Way to go!!!
Perfect start to a wonderful hobby.
I was talking to my dad yesterday about my first kill...a squirrel. I remember that day like yesterday. Help him make a good lasting memory of his first.

Congratulation to Kirk on his first bow kill and the start of a hobby like no other. Buckeye, thank you for taking the time to teach this youngster the love of our sport.
