Brickhouse TSC Question

To those who own A brickhouse, What are those 2 hooks that hang down on each side of the top Hub? what are u supposed to do with them? I just hooked them together?

Please help

I have the outhouse and the top one's are for suport from blowning over in the wind.anchor them to a tree or ????
