texas rut

Default texas rut

when in texas is the rut start i belive it is in the fall but just wondered and as anyone on the cost tryed the little can i have never tryed rattling or grunting becouse of scaring off the deer into the next county and wondered if any down on the texas coast has had any luck with it

the can , rattlin, gruntin, scent lures..all work..dosome research.....As far as the texas rut...check with your local game warden...they will have the info..GOOD LUCK SAFE HUNTS

Post on BHT and we'll talk about it. You're south of me, and our rutwon't get going good for about 6 weeks. Rattling is a whole nuther ball game though.

Buddy i must tell you the rut is a tricky thing here in Texas. you see Texas has 4 seperate rut zones EAST TEXAS, NORTH TEXAS, SOUTH TEXAS, AND HILL COUNTRY. It all depends on where you are .
