I have used fixed blades for the longest time. This year I am trying out some expandables. I don't know if I am going to like them but I will give them a shot.

I'm the generic 100grain 3blade muzzy hunter, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, they shoot identical to my field points so I don't need to adjust a thing.

85 grains of kick butt!!
And NEVER a problem opening!!!!
Even last years buck at almost a 45 degree angle!!!!!

I have used both, but for me I am currently shooting expandable splitfire 100 grain. If you take a broadside or quartering away shot they are devastating. I wouldnt' reccommend much ofa, quatering toward you shot, due to the ineviadable lower penetration. If you are seeking penetration at any angle shoot fixed. For the purest flight shoot expandables.
