What do you think:

This morning I put three biologic mineral licks out on the ground. The powder mix with water. I put corn around the area to get them in there and I know how some of you are about "baiting" but gotta do what you gotta do when you have only seen the place once! I would of liked to put it out in May and reupped it every month as I do with my regular spot. Do you think it is too late?

It's never TOO late... getting them in a new pattern takes a while but having them follow their noses will be instant. You just may not be able to count on it right away.

For minerals I would say yes it is a little late. The deer are using my mineralsites less and less now velvet has peeled and the winter coats have grown in. I am still getting some doe and fawn activity, although not much.

Good luck.

I agree with buckeyebuckhntr--it seems that my minerals are getting hit less and less--but I've put apples around, along with some corn, and that seems to be getting hit
