RE: Are crossbows cheating?
It's just another tool to harvest an animal.
Hunting is a personal thing and how you do it as long as it is legal, should be up to you.
With all the gadgets and such out there, you feel the need to use them so be it. It's your enjoyment.Ain't gonna affect me one bit

Arthur...I see politically correct as trying to say and do the right things. Lumping a whole group together because of the observation of a few is called prejudice. Most times when the person that does the lumping doesn't even know anyone in that group. It comes from being uneducated and uninformed. How many people that hate blacks or Jews really know any of them? So how can the observations of a few hold true for the whole group?
Most people that bow hunt don't even know anyone that crossbow hunts here in Kentucky since they aren't used much. That didn't stop anyone from putting a title of lazy scum hunter on the whole bunch. When the department was pushing the crossbow issue bow hunters got afraid their way of life was going to end so the easiest thing to do is start name callingwithout even knowing anyfacts.
So ifanyone doesn't want crossbow hunting at least give the real reason why. It's because they don't want anymore competition in "their" woods.
