Quote-I will tell you this much about this picture, we have received many pictures of cats that are too large to be a Bob cat. The ears are rounded, the spotting or stripes as you may say, can be significant of a younger cougar. The tail could be swayed from the angel of the picture? it could also be damaged?

You remind me of the folks who still camp outside area51 in roswell demanding the truth be told.Ha ha. Maybe it is a picture of elvis.

I'm not saying there aren't cougars there. I know nothing about PA. But that pic is of a bobcat.

This is not a cougar, it's a bob cat.

I swear, I still laugh everytime I look at them. I found them a few years back on some hunting site and had to save them. They could be the worst mounts ever!

100% Mountain Lion of some variety or subspecies/hybrid.

All of the features point towards mountain lion except that tail which could be the result of injury, deformity, angel of view, or hybrid mutation.
It has short sleek hair a long slender muscular body. Compare the facial features and patterns of the 2 cats below.

I don't see any resemblence to a bobcat at all no matter what season, lighting condition, or level of health. Consider that this picture is taken in natural daylight at a distance of 20 feet. If it is a bobcat then where are the spots? No matter which filter I use I cannot find a notable pattern in the fur, just a uniform color like that of a mountain lion.

Whatever it is - its awesome!!! Can I have one?
