IMO, shooting BH tipped arrows into a bag target is a no-no. That being said, I'd contact the manufacturer. Most likely you got some defective heads and they will replace them. Good luck.

If you want a extemely durable,sharp,and accurate expandable try a Grim Reaper...I have one that I shot a deer,ram,and turkey with the same head and have not replaced blades or anything on and I still am shooting it as a practice head and have had zero problems with it...I don't have any experience with the Gators but thought I'd pass this along..
