Do you have insurance? Well like you said you cant whine about a hunting trailor....when people lost all they own in Katrina. But I hope you can get somthing temporary to hunt out of. Maby a popup trailor or something. Good luck!

ORIGINAL: diamond dog

no insurance. the trailer was ancient, but in decent shape. we even had a satellite dish for the college football on saturdays. we had air conditioning, furniture, table/chairs, full bath....you could live there!
my buddy produces an outdoor show, and i have good holidays (being a teacher), so we spent lots of time there during thanksgiving/christmas, and every weekend during the entire season (oct.1-jan.31).
i don't know what we're going to do. we both ownRV's, butthey're too nice to take to the woods.
Sorry for your loss, Airconditioning, satellite TV ?? in a huntin camp. GEEZE. When I was younger I slept in a treestand overnight .Whats wrong with sleeping in your trucks??? Canned food, cereal with coke and snack crackers.

Sorry to hear about the bad news. I haven't hunted out of a camp in some time but I fondly remember those times. To have some of that taken away must surely be a blow. Salvage what you can before the season opens.
