This September 15th (Missouri) will be the first time I go bow hunting. I'm 18 years old and pulling about 48 pounds. Am I too old to be starting? This year Im just going out for the experience, I may go with a guide next year up in Northern MO/

well....the reason I say that ie because most of guys around here started when they were like 10 or 11.

This will be my fifth year and I'm 32,so the answer isno you are not to young but you might want to look at cranking that poundage up a bit for better penetration.
Be warned that bow hunting can be the most addicting thing you will ever do!!

I didn't start until I was 18 myself and have been hooked ever since. Never too old to start.

I thought you were going to say you were something like 70 or 80 years old.
