oldies but goodies
I just got this idea for a thread from another I just read. what terms that you have heard (new or old) that make you crack a smile. someone just jogged my memory on 'flipper rest'. one of my favs is 'burger button' or 'plunger button'. I know there are a ton more out there, so let's hear them!

I likeEaston's Gamegetter Arrows - those things have been around since the dawn of time. Remember the old olive green ones that turned silver after a few trips through the haybale?
There was the "overdraw"phase - duly noted above - Hunter9022 - props for that.
Who else rememberswhen the bigdeal was whether you useda release or not?
Would you like a TM hunter or Star hunter, Sir? LOL Were those the only two choices?
Yeah, I remembera time when you weren't huntin' unless you were rockin' a 4" overdraw, 6 - 26" 1916 Gamegetter II's, a set of punchcutters and astar hunter. The entire rig also needed to be completely wrapped in moleskin and shrink tubing and the High Country Supreme was the finest piece of shooting equipment ever made (and is still pretty darn good, might I add).

You wanna hear outdated, Frank? How about some arrows from the past. Remember Micro-Flite? Or Bear Metrics? Maybe Graphlex?
Of cource, I just got a couple dozen new cedar shafts to make up into arrows.

Brass tip sight pins. Painted them all a different color. Didnt make a hoot of difference because you couldnt see any of the pin from an hour before dark onward.. Of course me being colorblind didnt make them a logical choice either.
