The correct draw length is always best.... BUT.. there is no way a one inch difference would make my shots so bad I couldn't hunt. I mean, we're talking parts of an inch here at 20 yards. NO way would it be so bad as to make me a hunting misfit. I'd still beable to stick that critter when he came along. SO, the answer to your question is "NO, you can't have a new bow". Adjust the string and what you have. Shorten your loop yada yada yada. By the way, you said you just got your bow BACK. Who was messing with it when it was gone? What were they doing to it. Surely you've used up all the adjustments????? Your wife needs the money for a new dress.[8D]
