    I always hear the Jimi Hendrix rendition of The Star Spangled Banner when I shoot , but that's just me. People tell me I have issues.
    That's odd, I always thought I heard Janis singing , Bobby McGee or Try (just a little bit harder).

    My recurve and longbow only make a subdued "tunk" on release. With my selfbow, all I hear is the arrow cutting air.

    i dont hear much from my parker but the sound of an arrow hitting a deer shure sounds good

    never really noticed too much with the pro 40, unless I punch the trigger then I hear few choise words

    I agree with most that it is because you are so close to it. I thought my bow was kinda loud until my friend shot it and I could barely hear it.
