Suburban Deer and scent control
I'm in a somewhat unique situation where I am hunting in a rather suburban setting where deer are often in people's front and back yards browsing on plant material and running through the woods where the residents routine take strolls. How important is scent control in such conditions? I'm still gonna go about the normal routine of washing my clothes with baking powder and using scent eliminators and such, and using the attractant scents (experimenting this year with making mock scrapes and just bought a scent dripper last night), but I wanted to see if any of you have had experiences with hunting suburban bucks.

I hunt in some areas similar to what you have described. I look at it this way, the deer may smell human scent more often and be accustomed to it being around, but if the get a big snoot full of human stink 20 yards away they will know it and be just as scared as a big woods deer. They may not bust you at 100 yards, but up close, where it counts, it's just as important IMO.
