Default Walking into spot?

Several of my spots are tough to get to, so I often follow the path of least resistance (usually cow trails also used by deer). I really don't have much choice b/c the Florida terrain is thick and impossible to walk otherwise. This weekend, a deer attempted to use the cow trail but smelled where I walked in. I am wearing rubber boots but the brush is tall and thick, and rubs against my pant legs and up to my arm pits. How do I eliminate leaving my scent when walking in? Or is it impossible. Keep in mind, I am coming in via the path least likely to be used by the game and with the wind in my favor, but still, to maximize potential, I would like to enter with the least amount of scent.

Try hip boots and maybe rainjacket sprayed down with scent killer, not exactly comfortable but it will contain your scent. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

wear your rubber boots and spray down good with H.S.Scents sent-A-Way spray.I also live in Fla. and I buy this stuff by the Gal.if you use it every time as directed the deer will not smell you.

bathe before each hunt, use clean cloths on every hunt and spray all your cloths, hat, gloves and dittie bag.put the sent-a-way powder into your boots.

I have been doing this for several years and 9 out of 10 deer never smell me.I have had them walk the trail I came in on only a couple min. behind me.
Give it a try !!

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.
