i have a PSE silverhawk and i put some limbsavers on the other day,and shot it but it sounds the same as it did before putting them on the,,i also have the cat whiskers and string leeches in the bow string,,any suggestions??

I would tend to agree with TX. The combination of what you put on typically is enough to quelch most shot noise from most bows. Either your bow was excessively loud to begin with or something is loose on it. The only other two options would be to install a good stabilizer (Sims Enhancer 2000 or modular, Stealth) or to shoot heavier arrows (which absorb more shot energy..ie, noise and vibration).

I always find it hard to tell if a sound reducing device is working. Have a friend stand off to the side as you shoot and ask them how loud your bow sounds. If it is a clunking sound, there is probably something loose or broken.

ive shot with my dad several time and he says that he can deffinitly hear it,, i have shot before with my quiver off and it dont seem any different then either,,but i am pretty sure every thing is tight but maybe not,,and it could also be me but compared to fathers pearson predator it is kinda loud

Have you tried a good stabilizer/sound dampner? If yes, your bow may just be loud. I had the original Browning Mirage with two radical cams and I just couldn't quiet it down. The thing sounded like a cannon going off.

i do have a stabilizer on it,,it can off a bear whitetialii that my dad has i aint sure or brand tho,but it could be like u said and could be just loud,,i wonder if i should take every thing off of it and shot it and see what it sounds like,,probbly gain 20fps in doing so
