Default Arrow Confusion...

So tomorrow I'm planning on going to Sportsman's Warehouse to pick up a few things for my bow. Included will be a half dozen new arrows. I can't choose between the two though. Which do you think I should go with?

I shot the GT Expedition Hunters last season with good results, but considering they're the same price...

These are the only two that I'm choosing between, so please no [Insert Other Brand] replies.

Expeditions the same price as Axis's? I thought the expeditions were a step below the XT's. My advice would be if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Gotta ask.........why those 2?

They wouldn't be my 7th or 8th choice?[:-]If it's a money thing I can understand for sure, not baggin on ya, what's your price range?
and I hate to say it but.........1/2 doz? Your REALLY careful with your arrows huh?
I abstain from voting for now.

Well, I'm in total agreement with Matt. Why only those two?

If it's gotta be one or the other then I would go with the Axis over the expeditions.

I've still got a dozen of the Expeditions. I was planning on picking up another half dozen of them just to have. Because the store ordered a large shipment of the Axis' they put them on sale. They're going pretty cheap right now.

If I had to chose, I would chose the Easton ST Axis 400 arrows. They are straighter by .001". I have heard many replies on whether a hunter can tell the difference between a .006" arrow and a .003" arrow. I do not whether anyone here can tell, but if they are the same price, why not get the better ones? I did not like my Gold Tip XT arrows very much. They were way to brittle for me. I have heard of some problems with the HIT system and broadhead alignment, but I also heard they fixed it. If I had to chose between those arrows, I would pick the Easton ST Axis 400's.

You couldn't run after me fast enough to make me shoot the expeditions. With a .006 tolerance on straightness your starting off with a bent arrow to begin with. If your going to cut corners, it wouldn't be with the arrows. You have a high quality bow, how do you expect to shoot good using junk bent arrows? Save your money for a better quality.
