Also, when you practice, practice in low light conditions also. There is a world of difference in shooting a dusk and shooting a high noon.

i usaaly shoot in the evenings any way do to the heat,,but have not shot till dark except maybe once or twice,,so i might try that tonight

I noticed in you information that you have a 29" draw, but are shooting 31" arrows. Have you tried arrows that are a little shorter, like 29"?

i just resently bought the arrows and the only way to get them in 2315 was at a 31" draw lenght,,and since i do not know how much it would cost to cut them down i have not followed though on it,,i was previously shoting 2117's but bow tech and near by gander mount. said to go to larger arrow to to spine issues,,the 2117 were at 29"

Yeah, by doing that you added weight to your arrow. That may not be important to you, but just be aware that it will affect your arrow speed.

Actually, I looked it up and it doesn't seem to be that much of a difference.

Read everything you can get your hands on ( that pertains to hunting.......come on guys...[8D]). Oh, learn to read maps. Very valuable.
