Here's some pic's!
There is my deer from last bow season. That is the best deer I have taken with a bow, and I look forward to taking down something like it this year. October 28, 2001 was the date the deer was killed. The buck is a 9pt, and has plenty of mass. I killed him at my favorite bow spot. The two big bucks I always refer to are bigger then this buck, but not by much. Or atleast they wasn't last year. I hope to get one or both of them this year. So we'll see.
I was wanting to mount the full head, but just went with this mount because my first deer with a rifle was just as big, and I never got it mounted either. But I plan to mount both eventually.
Here is the first deer I ever shot. Killed him the second morning of rifle season. My grandpa seen him opening day, late in the evening. The buck was chasing two does. My grandpa's scope fogged up and he never took a shot at the massive buck. The next morning we planned a drive, and right at day break the buck walked out on a flat below me. I shot and missed him. I quickly took after the buck, driving him towards the people on stand. But as I got down to the flat he was on...the buck was climbing back up the hill. He stopped half way up the bank. I shot, and he dropped. The buck rolled back off the bank and tried to get to his feet. I shot again and finished him off with a 30.06, it was in 1997. I was 14years old, and this buck still impresses me with the lenght of his tines. The buck has 8pts.
I'll take some more pic's if you guys want to see them or something else. Just let me know.
