that would scare the **** out of me. Pretty big bare.Have you ever seen pics of the 2000+LB polar bears those things are freakin huge.
The largest bear ever recorded was a polar bear that weighed in at around 2,209 lbs.
I think there was also a kodik that weighed almost 1700lbs

The story behind the kill is fake, as is the picture with the guy that was killed. If you look at the picture of the guy, you will notice that the leg is clearly cut off, which is not typical of a Grizzly attack. The guy used to be a member of the forums. He set the story straight, and it was nothing like the story that circulates the net. The bear was not nearly that big.

Thats real old. I have both pics as well. They are gruesome. Something definetly chowed the guys leg but I always doubted the story behind it.

I first read this story from the guy that made the original in 1999.,It's been around a while I think he first post it here or on another site back then. The urban legends refrence says October of 2001,but I am thinking I first read it back in 99.Reason being that is when I got my first computer and thought I first read it.Oh well I guess I'm getting Ol timers.

This brings back a memory I have of the autopsy pics of a guy who broke into the zoo and decide to spend some time with the polar bears. Talk about being picked clean.
