I would never have waited for the 20point to come out. As soon as I saw the 150 class buck he would have been shot at.
That`s what I would do!!

ORIGINAL: Deer902

After I pick myself up off the ground from having a 150 class buck that close to my stand I would shoot which ever deer was laughing the hardest at me.

Now were talking.

I'd take the 20 yard shot and comeback with another any-sex tag during ML season and try to get theold boy then. Far better to take aclean shot on a 150 class buck than gutshot a 190 class buck.

I've passed on big deer before at lesser yardages, or the angle was wrong, etc. I'd take the high percentage shot at the 20 yarder.

Go with the 150 at 20 yards its a better chance of a quick kill

The 150 class would becoming home with me but if he wasn't in the picture I would have a hard time convincing myself not to take the 50yrd shotI practice year round 3d and shoot well passed 60yrds, and have all the confidence needed to make the shot.(as long as theconditions were right)
