Ausie, you're not a foreigner. Yer a furriner.[8D] Just a hint... Do not drive around Colorado during elk season with Texas plates on your vehicle.[:@]

and it seems to really piss a lot of hunters off there that someone from another state can go there and hunt on " their public land "
That's why when I go there I hunt on PRIVATE land they only wish they could hunt. Nyuck Nyuck NYuck.

I say come on and hunt.. Your welcome here in MO as far as I'm concerned. I meet quite a few out-of-staters each year and for the most part they have all been really great. In some instances they were more respectful of our wildlife and land than some locals I know. We are probably one of the most NR friendly states out there with so much public land available and the ease of obtaining tags. NR pay only $125 for a tag that allows them to kill two bucks here or two does whatever they prefer and two turkeys with archery tackle. The only exception is residents of IA, IL, KS, and OK and they pay $175. Still not a bad price and they can buy them over-the-counter with no limit. And we have a unlimited quota on antlerless deer in most of the state and NR can also buy them over-the-counter at the same price we pay which is only $7 a tag. I wish some of our neighbors would treat us so kind. Well I know the politicians have their agendas too.

Heck there are more persons of residence I'd rather not see in the woods than out of staters
Every year we get these yerks from NYC rolling up here to the northern half with everything from sawed offs to machine guns, looking to hit anything thats brown (or close enough to brown) and here I am bow hunting at the same time[:@]
