I am also considering trying a drop away rest and am glad to see the responses here. I really like the Shakey Hunter but don't like the fact you have to place moleskin or something on the launcher to quiet it during draw cycle. I really like the new Cobra drop away because it is basically the same design but has a teflon launcher instead of a steel one. I am just curious as to which drop aways will work on my Allegiance because I have issues with a rest that will adjust out enough to get center shot.

Mine is the QAD Ultra Rest; full containment and trouble free. I've also heard great things about the Drop Zone and the Rip Cord. The Drop Zone is very fast and I would probably have one, but I like to have my arrow "cocked" before I pull back; that way there is never a chance it'll fall off the rest before full draw.

Another vote for the drop zone.
