Well I think there are two types of homemande blinds. Type one usually just involves a fixed position blind using branches, leaves, dead limbs, etc... That is easy, especially if you have a deadfall close by to start with. The second type is normally when someone uses PVC piping or dowel roads in conjunction with camo netting material to create a true homemade portable blind.

I don't have directions for the latter but cannot see how it would be difficult provided you had someone with skills in sewing and some of the raw materials. Attaching it to the supports poles might prove tricky though.

I make blinds out of factory skids, they are free.

Fire wood, you gotta stack it some where?

Just clear out a hole in a dead fall.

I made a homemade blind this weekend. I used some T posts/ fence posts, Then put hog panel across it. I put a couple out on the edge of my foodplot, in the woods a little bit. I like to take some of the local vegitation and drape it around so come hunting season its ready. The spot I did this is called the rookie stand. Every year during youth season I let a couple young kids sit there on the first hunt. I have had 3 out of 5 get there first deer here on their first day.
