.....marking tape may be easier to see if there is snow on the ground...but toilet paper dissolves after 1 or 2 rains.Saves you havin' to go back and pick up all your pieces of tape......right!

I have a blue flashlight and last year at dear camp we tested it. In the house if we had all the lights off and shinned it at an arrow with blood on it, the blood spots actully glowed a purple/black color. Later that night we took the flashlight on a track job, and found that it worked, but it wasn't revolutionary. The blood glowed on the ground the same as in the house, but because of the shadows and background of the woods it didn't make the track any easier.
If your going to buy any type of tracking light get a Coleman lantern and get a reflecter to focus the light.
